Valley International Airport names new Assistant Director of Aviation
Bryan J. Wren, MSA, has been named assistant director of aviation for Valley International Airport. Wren is an aeronautical professional with ten-years of experience concentrated in airport operations, aviation safety, business administration, global air transportation (passenger and freight), and construction management. Wren comes to Harlingen from Houston, where he served as airport operations coordinator for the Houston Airport System, Ellington Field & William P. Hobby. Wrens primary responsibility will be to oversee day-to-day operations of the airport.
Mr. Wrenz experience in long term construction projects at Hobby, as well as overall experience in airport operations and general aviation will be a great asset to the team at Valley International Airport said Michael Browning, director of aviation.
Wren holds a Master of Science in Aeronautics from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, Daytona Beach, Florida. Wren also served as staff sergeant in the Texas Air National Guard 147th Fighter Wing and did a tour of Iraq in 2007. I am proud and excited to be part of the team at Valley International Airport, Wren said. I welcome the new challenges.
