(August 13, 2014) HARLINGEN, Texas – Valley International Airport (VIA) is pleased to announce the appointment of Nick Consiglio to its board of directors. The appointment allows VIA to have a full, nine-member board with each member serving a five-year term. The airport board sets long-range policies and strategies for VIA, the largest airport in the region.

Consiglio, a native to Harlingen, earned a bachelor of business administration in marketing from Texas A&M University and has served as the director of marketing for Texas Regional Bank since 2012. He has been a key player in the marketing and website development industry in the Valley since 2002, and founded dcnc Marketing in 2008 where he served as president.

Consiglio has a strong commitment to service and has contributed volunteer hours in the community. He currently serves as president of the Harlingen Proud Board of Directors and vice chairman of the Harlingen Planning and Zoning Commission. Consiglio is a member of the Boys and Girls Club of Harlingen Board of Directors, Harlingen Industrial Foundation Board of Directors, and a past board member of the Cameron County Children Advocacy Center – Maggie and Monica’s House. For the past 10 years, Consiglio has also volunteered as a CCD instructor at St. Anthony Catholic Church.
