Airport Info / About Us

Valley International Airport (HRL) located in Harlingen, Texas is the largest airport in the Rio Grande Valley. Nearly 800,000 passengers and visitors walk through our terminal annually. Southwest Airlines and United Express offer nonstop service to Houston/Intercontinental, Houston/Hobby, San Antonio and Austin. Sun Country Airlines offers the only non-stops between Harlingen and Minneapolis/St. Paul between October and April. Allegiant Air and Sun Country Airlines offer scheduled casino charter flights to Wendover and Laughlin, NV as well as Tunica, MS. VIA has the longest runway in the Rio Grande Valley. Runway 17R/35L measures 8,300 feet. Valley International Airport also now provides shuttle service for your trip to South Padre Island.
