If you are looking for a part-time seasonal job, with the possibility of going full-time, this job may be for you. As Ramp Agent/Cabin Groomer you will be required to assist with aircraft ramp operations. This consists primarily of marshalling the aircraft in and out of the gate, loading and unloading baggage, as well as cleaning aircraft lavatories. You will also assist with cabin grooming, cleaning, aircraft search and other ramp operational duties as delegated. To be considered for this position, you must be at least 18 years of age, able to lift 60 pounds routinely, and able to work late evenings, weekends and holidays. The position will remain open until filled. Successful applicant must be able to pass security background investigation, physical, drug/alcohol screening test. Current starting range: $10.50 per hour.

How many hours will I be working a week?
Anywhere from 8 to 12 per week. Hours will increase as the airline increases their flight schedule. The season currently is only OCT through end of APR. Additional hours could come as a result of any additional clients. Per current schedule, hours most likely are 9:30p-12m, five to six days a week depending on the month. Hours subject to change due to airline scheduling.
How often do I get paid?
Paychecks are deposited electronically to your designated bank account every two weeks on Tuesdays. Paycheck stubs are available through your supervisor/manager.
Is there paid training?
Yes. The training will take from 8am-5pm with one hour break for lunch. One day plus on the job training.
Will I be “on call” and subject to show up to work within a designated time?
You will have a set schedule in advance. However, please keep in mind that the schedule is subject to change without notice due to unforeseen circumstances, like weather or mechanical delays.4. As a part-time employee, what other benefits do I have?
There is free designated employee parking, and you will qualify for certain discounts from the concessions inside the terminal.
Will I have to wear a uniform?
Adhering to a grooming code is required according to what is mentioned in the employee handbook. VIA GH tee shirts are provided. You can wear regular jeans.
What are the odds of my position becoming a full-time position?
This depends on a variety of factors. First, we would need more clients and demand for our services. Second, it will also depend on a combined overall evaluation of factors like: performance, attitude, attendance, seniority and desire to excel in your field. Full-time employees enjoy an excellent benefit package.
How do I know if this job is for me?
This job requires that you be flexible with your working hours, able to lift 60 lbs., easily and regularly. The job demands 100% alertness while performing your duties, as SAFETY is our number ONE goal. The grooming aspect of the job involves, cleaning, vacuuming, wiping, searching and you must be flexible to take on additional duties related to handling the aircraft and/or customer service. Friendly, outgoing and able to work with a team of professionals, be an excellent listener and ready to follow instructions. Although there are certain aspects of the job that may turn into regular “routine”, you will find that every day is a new challenge and therefore making it exciting. One day you may face weather issues, another you may face human or mechanical issues.

Background check:
